Welcome! I’m Tracy Hunzeker.

Clinical Social Work & Holistic Therapist in Fort Collins, CO

I know how heavy life can feel sometimes, and I’m here to offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, peel back the layers, and find the roots of what’s been keeping you stuck. Whether it’s untangling anxiety, healing old wounds, or simply finding a little more peace in your relationships, we’ll work together to rediscover the spark that’s always been there, waiting to lead you toward lasting, meaningful change.

I see teens (16+), adults, and families in person at my office and online across Colorado.

What it’s like to work with me…

I’m here to walk alongside you as you rediscover your own innate wisdom, resilience, and path forward.

Therapy with me is deep and integrative—but also down-to-earth and real. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental presence to our work together, creating a space where you can be fully yourself.

With over 30 years of experience, I’ve supported teens and adults through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, perfectionism, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, and more. I believe in meeting you where you are, honoring your unique story, and tailoring our work to what feels most meaningful.

My integrative, holistic approach explores the connection between mind, body, and spirit—so change feels real, embodied, and lasting. I draw from a range of evidence-based and experiential methods, blending traditional talk therapy with somatic practices, mindfulness, spiritual inquiry, and deep self-exploration.

Our work may include trauma-informed approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, CBT, and Transpersonal Therapy. For those drawn to it, I also offer ketamine- and psilocybin-assisted journeys in a safe, supportive space.

Background & Experience

  • Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of people in diverse settings. Each experience has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges we all face and how important it is to be seen and heard in a way that honors the full complexity of who we are. Whether it’s helping someone heal from trauma, manage anxiety, overcome depression, or navigate difficult life transitions, I’ve learned that the path to healing is as unique as the person walking it.

Along the way, I’ve developed an integrative approach that combines evidence-based methods with body-focused techniques to create a healing experience that feels both personal and empowering. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and transformation, and my role is to offer the space, support, and guidance to help you reconnect with your true self and live a life that feels aligned, balanced, and whole.

  • Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I draw from a range of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and experiential practices. Some of the approaches I use include:

    • Somatic Therapy & Polyvagal Theory – By tuning into your body’s signals, we can release stored tension, regulate your nervous system, and create a deeper sense of safety and connection.

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – This approach helps explore different parts of yourself—especially those that feel conflicted or stuck—so you can heal from the inside out.

    • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – A powerful tool for processing trauma and shifting unhelpful beliefs and patterns stored in the nervous system.

    • Transpersonal Therapy – Rooted in spiritual psychology, this approach supports you in exploring deeper questions of meaning, purpose, and consciousness—especially when you're navigating major life transitions or seeking a greater sense of wholeness.

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Identifying and reshaping thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and self-doubt.

    • Strengths-Based Therapy – We’ll focus on your innate resilience, identifying and expanding the strengths that already exist within you.

    • Mindfulness & Meditation – Practical techniques to cultivate self-awareness, presence, and emotional regulation.

    • Ketamine & Psilocybin Assisted Therapy – For those interested, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore expanded states of consciousness as a path to healing and personal transformation.

Every person’s journey is unique, and together, we’ll find the approach that works best for you. Whether we’re engaging in deep inner work, exploring somatic healing, or building practical coping tools, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to move toward the life you want.

  • My rate for individual therapy sessions is $150 per 50-minute session. Rates for extended sessions, psychedelic journeys, and retreats vary depending on your needs, and I’m happy to provide personalized details. Feel free to reach out so we can explore what’s right for you.

While I don’t accept insurance directly, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider if you have out-of-network benefits.

Outside of Work

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll most likely find me outside—hiking, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. But above all, my greatest joy comes from my two grown daughters—they are my world and my greatest teachers.
